Looking forward to Christmas-Maybe.

Published by carfor12 at 11:48 am under Uncategorized Edit This

This has been a financially draining year for my household. We have found ourselves living off on one income and not sure how we are doing it. Christmas should be a time for us to reflect back and enjoy our accomplishments, this year that will not be as pleasant. Although our family has come up with some great ways for us to still enjoy Christmas without going overboard on the cost.

We have opted to do Chinese gift giving this year. This is where you choose a theme and buy one present within a set price limit. These gifts are then exchanged by a number system. I think this is a great way for us adults to be able to give gifts while still leaving money to get gifts for the children in our family.

If you would like to share your ideas on how to make Christmas less painful to the wallet please do not hesitate to let me know.

Enjoy the holiday season!!

I have not been able to get into the holiday season at all so far this year. I may not even put up a tree.

I have not even thought about holiday decorating yet either. My daughter however, has gotten into the swing of things early this year and already has her house decorated. Hope you can find some enjoyment in the holidays.
