Internet Selling-Where Should We Draw The Line.

Published by carfor12 at 2:26 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

I saw an article about a Belgian couple who sold their baby over the internet and now they want the baby back. As a society, what are we thinking? Where should we draw the line on what we can sell over the internet? I can understand a couple who is having trouble financially maybe deciding that they can not afford to raise a child and wanting to do the right thing and find a good home and family for the baby, but to sell the baby over the internet…am I the only one who thinks things have gone a little too far. And now the couple want this child back. I wonder how much thought went into selling their baby in the first place. I hope the powers that be really look closely at this couple before making a decision on whether or not this couple should have the baby returned. I realize that the internet has opened the world up and we are connected to people world wide and it is easier business wise if you can do work globally, but to sell children. It is scary when you think of how far the computer and internet have taken us. I wonder when we will decide there is a limit and draw a line on what we can and can not do internet wise.
