Upcoming Events in Lacombe, Alberta!
Today I wanted to do something a little different and post upcoming events in Lacombe, Alberta. Here is what is happening:
June 24/09 Heavenly Hands Children Group is meeting between 6-7pm. This is a Christian based non-denominational group for children aged 2-6. Children will play games, read stories, engage in crafts plus other activities.
Lacombe Days coming up July 17-19/09. Celebrate the town of Lacombe with many activities including a pancake breakfast, parade and a show and shine. These are just some of the fun events happening during Lacombe Days.
“Brunch at the Beach” will be held August 22/09 from 11am-1pm at the Gull Lake Centre. This features a brunch prepared with locally grown fresh food. There will be music and a mini mart.
In addition to these events Lacombe features a Sports and Leisure Complex and an Aquatic Centre. Lacombe also boasts 16 ball diamonds, 8 soccer pitches, tennis courts, and curling rink (just to name a few more activities).
So, it seems that there is a great deal happening around my small hometown of Lacombe, Alberta. It may be fun to take in some of these activities.
